SALES AND MARKETING

SALES AND MARKETING

A career in sales requires highly-motivated, energetic people who are skilled in public speaking and who can be persuasive. Typically a career in sales as it relates to information technology would require a salesperson to convince a client to buy a certain product.

In order to market a product well, a person needs to be able to analyze the market and industry trends and to be able to develop an overall vision, sometimes for advertising.

Most of these careers, though in the field of information technology require a degree in marketing and/or sales and some knowledge of information technology.
